African Analytics and Advisory Commission New Minerals Laboratory in Buffelspoort, North West.
African Analytics and Advisory has opened a new Minerals Laboratory in Buffelspoort, North West,
a move seen by CEO Julian Moodley as one more step in achieving AAA’s goal to serve its customers in the fastest and most convenient way.
AAA’s philosophy is to commission strategically- placed laboratories and operations to align the company with their port-to-pit logistics philosophy, which streamlines operations for customers in the commodities trade.

The new facility in North West not only has analytical capabilities, but also encompasses a sample preparation laboratory and an inspections team. The Trade base laboratory ensures that results are released with integrity and an acute level of precision and accuracy. Quick and accurate results allow wash plants, mines and traders to be decisive when concluding commercial transactions or adjusting mineral process plants.
Strengthening a home-grown brand, de-risking commercial corridors for its customers and providing analytical and inspection capabilities throughout the process. – AAA can now manage nominations from the mines to warehousing and load port facilities. This ultimately creates a unique opportunity for potential customers to make use a single agency for their entire value chain, an agency that will not only have an intimate understanding of a customer’s shipment, but that will also ensure a cost-effective transaction.
“Our fundamental objective to assist and protect the interests of mines and traders alike. Our new laboratory will further enhance our ability to act swiftly and cost effectively on new sites.” CEO Julian Moodley
